Kendrapara: In a disturbing incident, a youth was critically injured after being allegedly stabbed over a dispute involving just ₹100 in Kendrapara district.

The incident occurred in Shankhapada village under the Mahakalapada police limits. According to reports, the victim, identified as Somanath Das, was attacked with a knife by another youth who had reportedly lent him ₹100.

Das sustained severe injuries near his ear in the assault following an argument over the borrowed money. He was immediately rushed by his family members to the Mahakalapada Community Health Centre, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Following the incident, the victim’s wife lodged a complaint at the Mahakalapada police station. Based on the complaint, police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter.
