Flight service from Jharsuguda to Bhubaneswar, Raipur inaugurated

Jharsuguda: Alliance Air, a subsidiary of Air India, launched flight services from Veer Surendra Sai Airport (VSSA) in Odisha’s Jharsuguda to state’s capital city Bhubaneswar and Raipur in Chhattisgarh today.

The flights will operate under the Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN) scheme of the Central Government.

Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari, Odisha Health & Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das, Brajrajnagar MLA Kishore Mohanty and Usha Padhee, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, were present on this occasion.

While 72 air passengers travelled from Bhubaneswar to Jharsuguda, 54 journeyed from Jharsuguda to Bhubaneswar on Day 1.

As per schedule, Flight AI 9719 will leave Jharsuguda at 10.35 am and reach Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar at 11:35 am. Similarly, Flight AI 9727 will depart from Bhubaneswar at 9:05 am and reach Jharsuguda at 10:10 am.

On the other hand, Flight AI 9728 will depart from Jharsuguda at 5:15 pm and reach Raipur at 6:10 pm. Likewise, Flight AI 9720 will leave Raipur at 3:45 pm and reach Jharsuguda at 4:50 pm.

Slight changes have been made in the schedule only for today on the occasion of inauguration of flight services.
