Bhubaneswar: During a meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo today at Kharavel Bhavan, Bhubaneswar, Karan Adani of Adani Group today reiterated the intent to invest in Odisha’s clean energy sector, including the establishment of two power plants with a capacity of 3,000 MW each.

The deliberations also focused on accelerating the deployment of clean energy infrastructure—specifically Pumped Storage Plants (PSP), Solar Power generation, and Nuclear Power projects—to fortify long-term energy security, grid reliability, and sustainable energy development goals in the state.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Chief Secretary, Energy, Vishal Kumar Dev; Chairman and Managing Director of OPTCL, Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma; and Managing Director of GRIDCO, Satyapriya Rath, along with senior officers from the Energy Department.

The Adani Group also extended an invitation to the Deputy Chief Minister to visit their renewable energy projects located in other states.
