Bhubaneswar: In a move to enhance passenger convenience and streamline operations, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has revised the timings of two MEMU train services in Odisha with effect from April 25, 2026.

Schedule changes for Angul–Puri and Bhadrak–Cuttack MEMU services

The revised schedules apply to Train No. 68421 (Angul–Puri MEMU) and Train No. 68437 (Bhadrak–Cuttack MEMU), both of which operate on busy commuter routes across the state.

Angul–Puri MEMU revised schedule

Train No. 68421 will now depart from Angul at 05:10 hrs and reach Talcher at 05:35 hrs, departing again at 05:45 hrs. It will arrive at Meramandali at 06:09 hrs and Dhenkanal at 07:00 hrs.

The train will continue via Naraj Marthapur, Barang, Bhubaneswar New, and Mancheswar before reaching Bhubaneswar at 08:50 hrs. After a short halt, it will proceed towards Khurda Road, Delang, and Sakhigopal, finally terminating at Puri at 10:50 hrs.

Bhadrak–Cuttack MEMU revised schedule

Train No. 68437 will depart from Bhadrak at 15:00 hrs and reach Kenduapada at 15:20 hrs. It will then pass through Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Dhanmandal, Kapilas Road, and Nergundi before arriving at its final destination, Cuttack, at 18:40 hrs.

Passengers advised to check updates via NTES and UTS

Railway authorities have urged passengers to verify updated timings through official platforms such as the NTES and UTS before commencing their journey.

Officials stated that the revision is part of ongoing efforts to improve punctuality and ensure smoother train operations across key rail corridors in Odisha.
