Bhubaneswar: All schools in Odisha’s Puri city will remain closed on the occasion of Devasnana Purnima on June 29 (Monday).

The Puri district administration today issued an order in this regard.

As per the order, all government, government aided and private schools having classes from Sishu Vatika to Class-XII under Puri Municipal Corporation area will remain closed on June 29.

“In view of the anticipated congregation of large number of devotees for Devasnana Purnima ritual of Lord Jagannath, all government, government aided and privately managed schools having classes from Sishu Vatika to Class-XII under Puri Municipal Corporation area will remain closed on June 29 (Monday),” read the order issued by the Puri district administration.
