Dhenkanal: A woman has approached the Dhenkanal District Collector, alleging that she was deceived into an unsafe sexual relationship by a man who had promised to marry her.

According to the complaint, the woman alleged that the man, who is HIV-positive, established an intimate relationship with her after assuring her of marriage. She claimed that she later tested positive for HIV and subsequently asked him to fulfil his promise of marriage.

However, the woman alleged that the man refused to marry her, leaving her feeling cheated.

In her complaint, the woman has also made a serious allegation that the accused has maintained unsafe sexual relationships with several other women and may have exposed them to the virus. She has urged the district administration to take immediate action to prevent further spread of the infection and ensure justice in the case.

Further investigation into the matter was underway.
