Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today effected a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre by transferring two officials. The General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department issued a notification in this regard.

Poma Tudu, a 2012-batch IAS officer, has been transferred and posted as the Additional Secretary to the ST&SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, said the notification issued by the GA&PG Department.

Tudu has also been given the additional charge of Commissioner, Food Safety, Odisha and Managing Director (MD), Tribal Development Cooperative Corporation of Odisha Limited (TDCCOL).

The senior bureaucrat was earlier working as the MD, Odisha State Medical Corporation Limited (OSMCL) with additional charge of Commissioner, Food Safety, Odisha and MD, TDCCOL.

As per the notification, Smita Pani, a 2020-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the MD, OSMCL. She was earlier working in the GA&PG Department.
