Berhampur: The carcass of a leopard was found hanging from a tree near Jarada village under Kabisuryanagar police limits in Odisha's Ganjam district.

Locals initially spotted the dead leopard and informed the authorities. After receiving information, officials from the Kabisuryanagar police station and the Polasara Forest Division reached the spot and began an investigation.

The circumstances surrounding the animal's death remain unclear.

Forest officials are trying to determine the exact cause of the leopard's death and identify those responsible for the incident.
