Bhubaneswar: Bringing relief to aspirants, the Odisha Skill Development and Technical Education Department on Monday announced the results of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2026.

A total of 1,03,434 candidates had registered for the examination this year, of whom 92,628 appeared, recording an overall attendance of 89.55 per cent in the computer-based test.

The OJEE-2026 was conducted from May 4 to May 10 across 93 centres in all 30 districts of the state. In addition, centres were set up outside Odisha in Kolkata, Ranchi and Patna to facilitate candidates.

Officials said the entrance examination was conducted for 16 technical and professional courses, such as B.CAT, LE-Tech. (Dip), LE-Tech. (B.Sc.), B. Pharm., MBA, MCA, Int. MBA, LE-Pharm., M.Pharm, M. Arch, M. Plan, M. Tech., Basic B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, and Post Diploma Nursing, for admission into various government and private universities and educational institutions across the state for the 2026-27 academic year.. The counselling process is scheduled to begin from the third week of June.

This year, Shubhransu Sutar in B. Pharm, Arun Kumar Jena in LE-Tech. (Dip), Suraj Kumar Jha in LE-Tech. (B.Sc.), Debashish Behera in LE-Pharm, Tribikram Pradhan in MBA, Naren Patra in MCA / M.Sc. (Comp. Sc.), Srimayee Panigrahi in INT. MBA, Dev Mandal in B. CAT (Cinematography & Sound Recording & Sound Design/Film Editing), Shyamsundar Behera in M. PHARM, Sai Aarya Anushka Nayak in M. ARCH, and Sagarika Acharya in M. PLAN topped their respective courses. Swagat Kumar Behura secured the top position in the M.Tech. course.

The results booklet was formally released by Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Sampad Chandra Swain.

Candidates can download their rank cards from the official OJEE website (www.ojee.nic.in) and participate in the counselling process for admission into various government and private colleges, officials added.

Bhupendra Singh Poonia, Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Skill Development and Technical Education Department, OJEE Chairman Deba Prakash Satapathy, OJEE Secretary Ranjan Kumar Jena, and Biswaranjan Rath, Additional Secretary of the Skill Development and Technical Education Department, among others, were present at the event.
