Odisha Assembly Monsoon Session to begin on September 22 with nine working days

The Monsoon Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly is scheduled to begin on September 22 and continue till October 3, according to the provisional calendar issued by the Assembly.

Bhubaneswar: The Monsoon Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly is scheduled to begin on September 22 and continue till October 3, according to the provisional calendar issued by the Assembly.

The session will have nine working days. The Assembly will conduct official business on September 22, 23 and 24, while September 25 has been reserved for Private Members' Business, including Bills and Resolutions.

There will be no sitting on September 26 and 27 as they fall on Saturday and Sunday.

The House will resume on September 28 and conduct official business on September 28, 29 and 30. The Assembly will also meet on October 1 and October 3 for official business.

October 2 has been declared a holiday on account of Gandhi Jayanti.
