As per reports, Khageswar, a native of Dahara Sahi village of Rasola panchayat, had settled at Baliparbat around a decade ago.
Khageswar and his wife Tuni went missing from their home seven days ago. Their family members had lodged a complaint in this regard with police after they failed to trace the couple.
However, some villagers spotted the decomposed bodies of the couple floating in an abandoned well.

The cops sent the body for postmortem and launched a probe into the incident after registering a case in this regard. They also detained a person for questioning.
The couple’s family members, meanwhile, alleged that some miscreants might have killed them and dumped their bodies in the well.
“Some locals were jealous of Khageswar as he had done well financially in a short span of period. Those people might have killed Khageswar and his wife and dumped their bodies in the abandoned well,” said Khageswar’s elder brother Laxman.
