Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has disbursed over ₹61 crore to more than 79,000 beneficiaries under the Subhadra Yojana, reaffirming its commitment to ensure that no eligible person is left out.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said all genuine cases will be addressed through a robust verification and grievance redressal mechanism.
On the day, the Deputy Chief Minister released financial assistance to beneficiaries who had missed the first, second, or third instalments of the scheme. These individuals were earlier excluded due to issues such as inactive NPCI linkage, e-KYC biometric errors, and pending grievance resolutions.
The funds were transferred directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
According to official data, 21,901 beneficiaries received the first instalment, 22,347 received the second instalment, and 79,601 beneficiaries were covered under the third instalment.
Parida also reviewed the status of left-out beneficiaries with district administrations, including Ganjam, Jajpur, and Kalahandi, directing officials to expedite verification to ensure timely inclusion of all eligible beneficiaries.
The programme was attended virtually by senior officials of the Women and Child Development Department and district administrations.
