Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department in Odisha has published the final subject-wise merit list of the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET)-2026.

The department also published the final entrance marks of the two-year B.Ed, B.H.Ed and M.Ed courses in the state.

“The students can check their results by visiting the SAMS portal. Eligible applicants can exercise their choice locking from 3 pm on July 27,” said the department.

The department had published the results of the CPET-2026 on July 2.  It had conducted the CPET-2026 for enrollment of students to various PG programmes in universities and colleges for 2026-27 academic year.

As many as 58,613 candidates had submitted their applications for CPET-2026. However, altogether 53,901 candidates had appeared the entrance test, said the department.

The Higher Education Department will enroll a total of 32,309 students to at least 50 PG programmes in 132 institutions in the state for 2026-27 academic year. The complete schedule for the admission will be made available on the SAMS portal very soon, added the department.
