Bhubaneswar: All schools in Odisha’s Jajpur district will remain closed for two more days due to the prevailing flood situation.
Jajpur Collector issued an order in this regard on Thursday.
As per the order, all government as well as private schools in Jajpur district will remain closed on July 31 and August 1 due to the flood situation in Baitarani and Brahmani rivers.
The Collector has ordered the closure of schools till August 1 to ensure the safety of the students, said an official.
Earlier, the administration had announced that all schools in Jajpur would remain closed on July 30 (Thursday) in view of the flood situation in the district.
