Bhubaneswar: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Odisha Government on Tuesday transferred seven IAS officers and several Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers, assigning them new roles and responsibilities.

2014-batch IAS officer Birendra Korkora, Director of Secondary Education, has been appointed Additional Secretary to the Home Department.

2014-batch IAS officer Aradhana Das, Additional Secretary to the Home Department, has been appointed Additional Secretary of the Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department.

2015-batch IAS officer Jugaleswari Dash, Director of OBC, has been appointed Director of Secondary Education.

2015-batch IAS officer Archana Das Pattanaik, Additional Secretary, Excise Department, has been appointed Director of AYUSH.

2015-batch IAS officer Anjana Panda, Director, AYUSH, has been appointed Additional Secretary, Excise Department.

2015-batch IAS officer Sanjaya Kumar Biswal, Additional Secretary, Commerce and Transport Department, has been appointed Director of Information and Public Relations (I&PR), Bhubaneswar.

2020-batch IAS officer Sundara Madhaba Padhi, Deputy Secretary, Works Department, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, Odisha Maritime Board. He will also continue to hold additional charge as General Manager of the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation.

Among the OAS officers, Babita Mohanty, Special Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, General Administration and Public Grievance (GA & PG) Department.

OAS officer Anuj Kumar Das Pattnaik, Director, I&PR, Odisha, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Planning and Convergence Department.

OAS officer Himansu Sekhar Behera, Additional Secretary, Lokayukta, Odisha, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Home Department.

OAS officer Kalpataru Behera, Additional Commissioner, Cuttack Municipal Corporation, Cuttack, has been transferred and posted as Director of Estates and Ex-officio Special Secretary, GA & PG Department.

Santoshi Sahoo, Registrar, Odisha University of Health Sciences (OUHS), Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Skill Development and Technical Education Department.

Manaswini Sahu, former Registrar of Rama Devi Women's University, Bhubaneswar, who has joined the GA & PG Department, has been posted as Additional Secretary, Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department.

Prakash Chandra Mohanty, Additional Secretary, Planning and Convergence Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC), Bhubaneswar.

Debabrata Mallick, Additional Secretary, GA & PG Department, with additional charge as Nodal Officer, Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Commerce and Transport Department.

Jayashree Senapati, Joint Secretary, Water Resources Department, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, OSSSC, Bhubaneswar.

Paresh Kumar Nayak, Joint Secretary, Higher Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, Cuttack Municipal Corporation, Cuttack, on foreign service terms and conditions.

Swarupananda Sahu, OSD, Sports and Youth Services Department, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, OSSSC, Bhubaneswar.

OAS officer Dayasindhu Parida, Sub-Collector, Karanjia, has been allowed to continue holding additional charge as Project Administrator, ITDA, Karanjia, until further orders.

OAS officer Chittaranjan Mohanta, Project Administrator, ITDA, Karanjia, has been transferred and posted as Additional Sub-Collector, Subarnapur.

In a notification, the General Administration and Public Grievance Department stated the controlling authorities of the concerned officers under transfer orders have been directed to relieve them within seven days of the issuance of the notification.

If the officers are not relieved within the stipulated period, they will be deemed to have been centrally relieved with effect from September 1, 2026.

The relieved officers have been directed to join their new assignments without availing themselves of any joining time or leave, the notification added.
