Bhubaneswar: A total of 25,332 students have been selected for admission in the phase-I spot selection under Odisha's Higher Secondary (+2) e-Admission Process for the 2026-27 academic session.
Of the total selected candidates, 3,786 are fresh applicants who had not secured admission in either the first or second selection rounds. Their inclusion through the spot round has helped fill vacant seats and expand access to higher secondary education.
The Arts stream accounted for the highest number of selections, with 14,180 students securing admission. The Science stream followed with 7,226 admissions, while 2,601 students were selected in Commerce.
In addition, 1,068 candidates were selected for Vocational courses and 257 students secured admission in the Sanskrit stream.
