Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Odisha on a three-day visit to the state on Monday.

The President reached the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in the capital city in the afternoon. Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and other dignitaries received the President at the airport.  

Soon after reaching the airport, the President was escorted to the Governor’s House. She is scheduled to inaugurate a private university in Cuttack district in the evening.

After a night halt in the capital city, the visiting dignitary will travel to Berhampur in Ganjam from Bhubaneswar in a train on August 4. She is scheduled to reach Taptapani hot spring under Sanakhemundi block in the district by road. 

The President will make a night halt at the Army AD College at Golabandha in Ganjam on Tuesday. She will return to New Delhi on August 5.
