Bhubaneswar: The State Selection Board (SSB) has released the schedule for the CPET (Common PG Entrance Test) 2026. The entrance examination is set to be conducted from 5th May to 16th May, 2026.

The CPET will be held for admission into 50 postgraduate subjects across the state. The examination will be conducted in two sittings each day. The first sitting will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:40 AM, while the second sitting will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:40 PM.

On the first day (5th May), candidates appearing for subjects such as Commerce, Biotechnology, Sociology, Environmental Science, Education, and Anthropology (Arts) will take the examination.

A total of 58,708 students have applied for 31,915 postgraduate seats. Admit cards for the examination will be available for download from 30th April, 2026. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website of SSB (https://ssbodisha.ac.in/)

Selection of candidates for postgraduate courses will be based on the marks obtained in the CPET examination.
