Bhubaneswar: A youth allegedly ended his life by jumping from a building at the Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Monday.

The youth reportedly jumped from the fifth floor of the building at the health institute’s Baripada campus in the evening and he died on the spot.

On being informed, senior officials of the medical college and hospital rushed to the spot and enquired about the incident.

The identity of the deceased youth as well as the reason behind his suicide is yet to be known. The authorities have recovered the body and launched a probe.
