Kendrapara: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch today raided the house of dreaded gangster Syed Usman Ali alias Tito at Dilarpur here and nabbed his two brothers, who had been absconding for the last one year.

Acting on a tip-off about the presence of the two brothers in the house, the STF conducted the raid in the wee hours today.

Sources said the two brothers- G Babu and SK Jitu- had absconded when the STF had arrested Tito on June 30, 2018. Over 30 criminal cases, including illegal sand mining and stone quarrying, are pending against the two brothers.

Besides, the STF also arrested another relative (brother-in-law) of the gangster during the surprise raid.

Worth mentioning, the STF had arrested Tito following an encounter in Chandikhole area of Jajpur district on June 30, 2018. On April 19, he was shifted to Jharpada Special Jail in Bhubaneswar from Kendrapada Jail for the general elections.
