Bhubaneswar: Ace sprinter from Odisha Dutee Chand, who recently hogged the headlines for her confession of being in a same-sex relationship, will soon be seen in the popular television show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ as a guest.

The shoot has already been completed for the episode, which will be telecast soon. However, national television channel Sony that is telecasting the comedy show is yet to release the promo of the episode. The athlete has uploaded a few pictures from the sets on her social handle.

Besides Dutee, former Indian football captain Baichung Bhutia and hockey player Sandeep Singh will be seen in the episode.

Earlier this month, the Asian Games medalist had revealed that she is in a same-sex relationship with her ‘soulmate’. She is the first athlete to acknowledge her lesbian relationship openly before the media.

Worth mentioning, Dutee is an inspiration for other female athletes. She went through severe mental trauma after she was dropped from 2014 Commonwealth Games in India under the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) rules on hyperandrogenism.

However, she had moved the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne against her ban notice. Later, the IAAF withdrew the rules allowing her to return to 100m and 200m events.
