Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a new State Executive for its Odisha unit.
The new BJP State Executive has 72 members, 38 special invitees and 23 permanent invitees.
Altogether nine BJP leaders from Cuttack district, including Dr. PC Mohapatra, Nayan Kisore Mohanty, Sajjan Sharma and Arindam Roy, have been included in the 72-member committee.
Three BJP activists from Bhubaneswar, including Jagannath Pradhan and Dillip Mohanty, have found place in the committee.
Former MLAs—Hitesh Kumar Bagarti, Shankar Oram and Nauri Nayak—have also been included in the panel.
The party has included former Parliamentarians Parsuram Majhi, Anubhav Mohanty, Pravash Singh, Amar Pattanaik and Rabindra Jena in the list for special invitees.
Similarly, former legislators Lalitendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra, Jayanta Kumar Sarangi and Jagnyaswar Babu have been made as special invitees to the State Executive.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, several members of the State Cabinet have been included in the list of permanent invitees.
Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Jual Oram and Ashwini Vaishnaw have also been made as permanent invitees to the committee.
Besides, the party has included all BJP MPs and MLAs in Odisha in the list of special invitees.
