Private hospitals to offer free healthcare services under BSKY

Bhubaneswar: The private hospitals will offer free healthcare services under Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) soon in Odisha, informed Health & Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das here today.

"The private hospitals have been directed to implement the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana. Another review meeting in this regard will be held very soon," Das told media.

The hospitals will be warned to ensure that all the beneficiaries under the scheme get healthcare services, he added.

Notably, the BSKY is a scheme of Odisha government that aims to provide universal health coverage, with special emphasis on the health protection of economically vulnerable families.
