Bhubaneswar: Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) across Odisha will remain open for two days during Durga Puja holidays for allotment of registration numbers of vehicles purchased during the festival, an official order of the State Transport Authority said.

Registration section of all RTOs have been directed to remain open on October 5 and 7 from 3 PM to 5 PM for this purpose.

"All RTOs are instructed to check the dealer premises and ensure that no vehicle is delivered without registration. In case the dealer is delivering the vehicles without registration, then steps shall be taken for cancellation or suspension of the trade license of the dealer," the order said.

However, LL and DL will not be issued at the RTOs during the Durga Puja holidays from October 5 to 8, it said.
