Cuttack: Barabati Stadium in Odisha's Cuttack city is set to host an international cricket match as India take on Sri Lanka in a T20I match on December 24, 2026, according to the schedule of Sri Lanka’s tour of India.

As per the schedule, the tour will begin with a three-match ODI series starting on December 13 in Delhi, followed by matches in Bengaluru and Ahmedabad on December 16 and 19, respectively. The teams will then move into the T20I series, beginning with the first match in Rajkot on December 22.

Cuttack will host the second T20I on December 24, scheduled to start at 7 PM. The final T20I of the series will be played in Pune on December 27.

The announcement brings excitement for cricket fans in Odisha, as Barabati Stadium will once again witness international action. The venue last hosted an international match on December 9, 2025, when India faced South Africa in a T20I match. India had registered a dominant 101-run victory in that match.
