Berhampur: With incessant rain causing flood-like situation in Ganjam, the Collector declared closure of all Government and private schools in the district today.

Besides, all Anganwadi centres will remain shut today, said Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange.

However, teachers have been instructed not to take leave today and help people affected by the flash flood in the district.

Sources said several areas of the district including Berhampur have been affected due to the flash flood. People residing in low-laying areas are facing various inconveniences with rain water causing waterlogging in the localities.
