Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has lodged a complaint at Singhadwar police station against a servitor for allegedly using a mobile phone atop a chariot during the Bahuda Jatra of Lord Jagannath and His siblings here.

The complaint includes photographs showing the servitor using the mobile phone on the Darpadalana chariot of Goddess Subhadra, as well as a news article published in a newspaper.

The SJTA has also received videos and pictures of other servitors using mobile phones on chariots. The temple authorities plan to file additional complaints in phases and will take action against the identified servitors after the police investigation.

During the Bahuda Jatra, some servitors ignored orders from SJTA Chief Administrator Arabinda Kumar Padhee and were seen filming the crowd from the chariots.
