Rayagada: A massive fire broke out at the camp of 4th Battalion of CRPF in Odisha's Rayagada district late last night gutting properties worth over Rs 2 crore.

According to reports, the fire mishap took place at the godown of the camp around 1.30 am. The flame soon engulfed three rooms of the godown damaging the stored articles including uniforms of jawans, shoes and other properties.

However, no casualities have been reported in the incident. Though the reason behind the outbreak of fire is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that an electrical short circuit led to the accident.
