Bhubaneswar: The pools and match schedule for the upcoming Men's Hockey World Cup, kick starting from November 28 till December 16 at Kalinga Stadium here, were announced by the International Hockey Federation (FIH).

There will be 16 teams split into four pools -- A, B, C and D. While Pool A consists of Argentina, New Zealand, Spain and France, Australia will take on England, Ireland and China in Pool B. The matches will be held among Belgium, India, Canada and South Africa in Pool C. The three-time world champion team Netherlands will play against Germany, Malaysia and Pakistan in Pool D.

The pool-wise matches will be held from November 28 till December 9, with two matches per day starting at 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm (IST) respectively.
