Nayagarh: A video featuring intimate moments between a youth and a minor girl, both students of a college in Kantilo area of Odisha's Nayagarh district, has gone viral on social media.

According to reports, the clip features a +3 second year boy and a +2 first year girl of a particular college here. The boy allegedly recorded the video and shared it with some of his friends. The clip later got uploaded on social media and went viral.

While the video surfaced on social media and WhatsApp 4-5 days ago, the family members of the girl student lodged a complaint against the boy at Khandapada police station last evening after they came to know about the incident. They have leveled allegations of rape against the boy in the FIR.

"The incident was recorded at the Gokulananda Tourism Centre in Sidhamula village here on February 17. Investigation into the matter is underway. No arrest has been made so far in the case," said Khandapada police station IIC Vimal Kumar Mallik.

Efforts are on to nab the accused boy and his friends who made the video viral, police sources said. Meanwhile, the two students have been rusticated from the college. The boy has reportedly absconded.

Worth mentioning, several sex videos and clips/photos of intimate moments of couples had recently gone viral in Odisha prompting the state police to issue an advisory in this connection to curb circulation of such photos and videos.
