Bhubaneswar: A college student drowned while bathing in the Kolab dam reservoir in Odisha’s Koraput district today.

The deceased has been identified as Moses Khosla of Kolab Nagar area in Koraput. Moses was an undergraduate (Plus 3) Commerce student of Semiliguda College in Koraput.

As per reports, Moses and some other youths went to the Kolab reservoir for filming reels. Moses drowned while he and other members of the group were bathing in the reservoir after filming the reels, reports said.

On being informed, the Fire Brigade personnel rushed to the spot and fished out the body from the reservoir.

The police have seized the body and sent it to SLN Medical College and Hospital at Koraput for postmortem before launching a probe into the incident.
