Govt appoints key officials for 4 health institutes in Odisha

The state government has appointed key officials for four medical college and hospitals in Odisha. The Health & Family Welfare Department today issued a notification in this regard.

Bhubaneswar: The state government has appointed key officials for four medical college and hospitals in Odisha.

The Health & Family Welfare Department today issued a notification in this regard.

As per the notification, Harikrishna Dalei has been appointed as the Dean and Principal of MKCG Medical College in Berhmapur. Dalei was earlier working as the Dean and Principal of SLN Medical College in Koraput, said the notification.

Sudeepa Das, a professor at the FMT Department of MKCG Medical College and Hospital, has been elevated as the superintendent of the institute, it added.    

Similarly, Ritanajli Behera, a professor at the O&G Department of PRM Medical College and Hospital at Baripada, has been elevated as the superintendent of the health institute.

Besides, Sasmita Swain, a professor at the O&G Department of the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, has been appointed as the Dean and Principal of SLN Medical College in Koraput.

According to the department, Leena Das, a professor at the Paediatric Department of the PGIMER and Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar, has been appointed as the superintendent of FM Medical College and Hospital at Balasore.
