Khordha: In a demonstration of the State Government’s proactive commitment to industrial growth, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today visited major manufacturing facilities at the Industrial Parks in Khordha.
The Chief Minister visited Trimetro Garments (EPIC Group), a premier Hong Kong-headquartered apparel manufacturer. Marking its first footprint in India, the company has set up a state-of-the-art facility in Khordha with an investment of approximately Rs. 376 Crore. Showcasing the State’s rapid execution, the project progressed from its groundbreaking on April 3, 2025, to inauguration in less than a year. Manufacturing for the globally renowned brand Uniqlo, this unit places Odisha on the global fashion map and carries a massive employment potential of over 7,000 jobs.
Following this, the Chief Minister visited the Mundamba Industrial Park facility of Anadrone Systems Private Limited, a critical player in strategic defence manufacturing. With an investment of Rs. 96.86 Crore and an employment potential of 165 people, the company manufactures advanced defence systems. The Chief Minister reviewed operations and witnessed live demonstrations of cutting-edge defence equipment, including aerial targets, target launchers and trailers, ground support equipment, and ground stations, currently being fabricated at the Khordha facility.
At both units, the Chief Minister held detailed interactions with the promoters and employees. Reaffirming Odisha's business-friendly environment, the Chief Minister assured the promoters of complete administrative cooperation and support for their operations in the state and future expansion plans, reiterating the State's vision to drive diverse, high-value industrialization.
