Odisha: Accused escapes police custody on pretext of attending nature’s call

An accused allegedly escaped the police custody in Odisha’s Bhadrak district today. Soon after the incident, the cops launched a manhunt to nab the escapee.

Bhubaneswar: An accused allegedly escaped the police custody in Odisha’s Bhadrak district today. The incident took place in Chandbali area of Bhadrak.

As per reports, a court in Bhadrak had issued an arrest warrant against the accused. Executing the warrant, the Bansada police in Bhadrak today arrested the accused person.

While being escorted to the court, the accused urged the policemen to allow him to attend nature’s call. Accordingly, the two constables took the accused to a roadside field. However, the accused pushed the duo and fled the spot, reports said.

Soon after the incident, the police launched a manhunt to trace and nab the escapee, they added.
