Bhubaneswar: Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling’s vehicle met with an accident on National Highway (NH)-49 in Odisha’s Keonjhar district today.

The mishap took place at Jagmohanpur Square under Telkoi police limits while the Health Minister was on his way to Mayurbhanj from Sambalpur in the afternoon.

However, Mahaling did not sustain any injuries in the accident, reports said.

As per reports, Mahaling’s car collided with the pilot vehicle from the rear after the latter suddenly applied brake at Jagmohan Square on NH-49.

However, the minister was safe due to the air bag system in his vehicle. He later travelled to Mayurbhanj in another vehicle, reports said.
