Bhubaneswar: The Housing & Urban Development (H&UD) Department will hold a Special Appellate Camp Court at Unnati Bhawan in the Odisha capital here on May 30.

The camp court has been convened for hearing and disposal of appeal cases arising out of orders issued by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) and the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Senior officers of the H&UD Department have been designated as Appellate Authorities to ensure expeditious disposal of the pending appeal cases.

The designated Appellate Authorities include H&UD Department Additional Chief Secretary Usha Padhee, Municipal Administration Director Arindam Dakua, Special Secretary Gangadhar Naik, and Additional Secretaries Sourindra Routray, Binay Kumar Dash, Rabindra Kumar Sahoo, Sahadev Samudia, Subhananda Mohapatra and Satrughna Kar.

To facilitate smooth and efficient proceedings, designated officers and supporting staff have been attached to the respective Appellate Authorities for assistance in case management and related proceedings.

The assisting officials have been instructed to collect all relevant case records from the Town Planning (TP) Section of the Department in advance to ensure proper preparation and timely disposal of appeals during the proceedings of the camp court.
