Bhubaneswar: A 40-year-old woman was allegedly filmed while taking a bath at her rented accommodation in Odisha’s Balangir district.

The police have arrested two youths and produced them in a local court after registering a case in this regard.

The arrested have been identified as Devanand Gahir (26) and Raj Mahanand (25) of Deobandpara under Titilagarh police limits.

As per reports, the accused duo allegedly filmed the woman while she was taking a bath at her rented house at Deobandpara. They reportedly filmed the woman through the skylight of the bathroom by using a mobile phone.

The woman informed the incident to Titilagarh police soon after she came to know about it. The cops swung into action and arrested the two youths.

The police booked the accused duo under various Sections of the BNS and IT Act.

“We have arrested the accused duo and seized the mobile phone from them. Further investigation on the matter is underway,” said Titilagarh police IIC Manoj Munda.
