Subarnapur: In view of the prevailing heatwave conditions across Odisha's Subarnapur, the district administration has announced that all Anganwadi Centres, schools, colleges, technical institutions and other educational institutions in the district will remain closed until June 20.

However, examinations scheduled during these days will continue as planned. Authorities have directed that examinations be conducted during morning hours to minimise students’ exposure to excessive heat.

Heads of institutions have been directed to ensure the availability of safe drinking water and implement necessary heatwave precautionary measures for students and staff attending examinations.
