Nayagarh: In probe into viral sex video featuring intimate moments between a youth and a minor girl surfaced in Nayagarh district, police today arrested the absconding accused student seen in the video.

The student was sent for medical examination.

The accused identified as Pabitra Nayak was at large after the sex video allegedly shot by him went viral on the internet.

During course of investigation launched on Saturday, police had raided several places to trace whereabouts of the accused.

The clip features a +3 second year boy and a +2 first year girl of a particular college near Kantilo in Nayagarh district. The boy allegedly recorded the video and shared it with some of his friends. The clip later got uploaded on social media and went viral.

While the video surfaced on social media and WhatsApp few days ago, the family members of the girl student lodged a complaint against the boy at Khandapada police station after they came to know about the incident. They have leveled allegations of rape against the boy in the FIR.

Taking stern action, the college authorities rusticated both the students featured in the video.
