Bhubaneswar: Little girl Arpita Behera from Sambalpur city made both the state and country proud by clinching the Little Miss Galaxy World title during an international talent and beauty pageant in Bulgaria.

Arpita was crowned as the Little Miss Galaxy World 2018 with her excellent performance in category of 12 and 14 years age group at the international pageant.

Arpita, a class 7 student at Saint Joseph Convent School in Sambalpur, is the daughter of Rajesh Behera and Binapani Behera. Earlier, she had won Little Miss Sambalpur title in 2012.

Last year in 2017, Odia girl Myra Muni was placed first runner-up in the Grand Finale of the Little Miss Galaxy competition.
