Bhubaneswar: With an aim to ensure uninterrupted learning during the summer vacation, the Odisha Government has announced students will continue their studies through digital platforms.

As part of the “Summer Learning Program for Students,” lessons will be shared via WhatsApp, making it easier for children to access study materials from home. The initiative will cover students from pre-primary (Shishu Vatika) up to Class VIII. The Odisha School Education Programme Authority has written a letter to the District Education Officers (DEOs) in this regard.

The letter directed the DEOs to ensure creation of WhatsApp groups of students’ parents by April 25.

According to officials, class-wise lessons along with audio-visual content will be provided to students to keep them engaged during the vacation period. The programme aims to make learning interactive and accessible despite the school break.

The Government also released a detailed timetable for the Summer Learning Programme, outlining the schedule for different classes and subjects.

The programme is expected to help students maintain academic continuity and make productive use of their summer holidays.
