PM Modi arrives in Bhubaneswar on two-day visit to Odisha ahead of polls

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bhubaneswar this evening on a two-day visit to Odisha. The PM is scheduled to canvass voters seeking their mandate in support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates for simultaneous polls to Lok Sabha and Assembly segments in the State.

The PM arrived here by a special aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) amid tight security.

According to an official source, the PM straightway proceeded by road to the BJP state office in the city from the airport. He will hold discussions with senior BJP functionaries and halt at night in Raj Bhavan thereafter. After having Darshan of the Holy Trinity in Srimandir on Monday morning, he will hold a roadshow in Puri town. The PM will seek votes in the pilgrim town for the party’s Lok Sabha candidate and national spokesperson Sambit Patra and Puri Assembly segment nominee Jayant Sarangi.

Later, the PM is to hold two public meetings at the stadium ground in Angul and Killa Padia in Cuttack.

Worth mentioning, this is the PM’s third visit to Odisha during the ongoing General Elections 2024.
